Hey, I’m a solid uk/eu medium 38-40 chest and I found the jacket to be slightly smaller than a standard medium (judging by my carhartt coach jackets) so I have sent it off for an exchange for a large. I rang patta and was reassured that the length of the arms and hem to hem and the same. Hope this helps.
